The Position
Support, maintain and monitor pastefill activities.
Key Responsibilities
- The installation and removal / replacement of air, water, sump and paste line services as required.
- Must be able to operate jackleg, stoper, a large variety of u/g mobile equipment including scissordecks, LHD equipment , boom trucks , service vehicles
- Must be able to monitor paste pours along with communicating with batch plant on surface
- Must be able to read and understand paste letters and mine prints
- Non Destructive Testing of Paste Line components
- Other duties as assigned by the Frontline Supervisor.
Skills and Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Underground Common Core Certificate
- Some construction specialty modules
- U0004 Drill Rock
- U0010 Muck with Load Haul Dump (LHD) Machine
- U0011 Extend Services
- U0024 Operate Utility Vehicle
- U0028 Operate Scissor Lift
- U0076 Perform Fill Placement
- Minimum of five (5) years mining experience, including 3 years in a construction role.
- Trained and licensed on mobile equipment in the mine for job requirements
- Underground experience with paste pipe installation
