Purpose

• Sample muck from underground haul trucks after dumping on surface.
• Perform other duties in assistance to production geologists.

• Follow operating procedures, Occupational Health and Safety Act; company policies and comply withall regulatory requirements.

• Wear proper “Personal Protective Equipment”

Responsibilites

• Collect samples after haul trucks dump and insert tags to appropriate samples. 
• Ensure that samples collected correspond to the amount of tonnage hauled.
• Good radio communication with haul truck operators about heading locations
• Keep work area clean. 
• Assist with preparing QA/QC samples as directed by geology
• Assist with additional samples for metallurgical sampling as directed by geology 

Education & Training

• High School Grade 12 Diploma. 
• Valid "G" driver's license
• Previous sampling experience would be considered an asset.
• UG Common core modules U000, U001, U002 and U0012 would be considered an asset, but not required as in-house training would be provided 
• Communicates openly, honestly, in a timely manner. 
• Ability to work with others, team player. § Industry-standard training in First-Aid and WHIMIS would be an asset
